Privacy Policy

Here at Bridgeway Community Church, we are committed to protecting the privacy of our clients and the security of their data. This Privacy Policy is intended to inform you about how we might use your information, whether your information will be disclosed to anyone, and the choices you have regarding the use of that information. “You” and “your” as used referring to an individual who uses this site or software, bound by this Privacy Policy and Bridgeway’s Terms and Conditions.

Collection and Use of Your Personal Information

When visiting our sites, we collect basic data specific to each visitor, including visitor’s IP address, operating system, browser type and version numbers, and the pages viewed. This information is combined with other visitor information.

Bridgeway collects information that can identify individuals, such as name, identification number, mailing address, e-mail address, and other personal characteristics. This information will be processed fairly and lawfully and will not use this information for purposes other than what it was intended for. For example, Bridgeway will use your personal information for donations, to improve our site and software, provide information about our services, engage in business, monetary transactions, and as otherwise permitted by the law.

Furthermore, personal information you may provide to us for monetary donations will only be used to process final transactions, and will be reviewed periodically reviewed as long as your account is active. This information is shared with financial organizations as a standard course of doing business. Account status and payment history will also be disclosed to various credit reporting agencies.

Sharing Your Personal Information

Bridgeway may share our clients personal information within our organization or authorized third parties (e.g. business partners) as identified in this policy. Information may also be disclosed in response to subpoenas or other governmental requests to protect our contract or legal obligations. Bridgeway will not sell or transfer your personal information to individuals or organizations outside of us or one of our authorized partners without your approval.

Cookies are types of identifiers sent from a website to your computer system through your web browser to provide features tailored to you. Bridgeway uses your cookies to secure and confirm your information when you log on to our site with your private username and password. This information is not used for any other purpose other than to grant you access to

E-Mail Communications

Bridgeway may provide visitors with announcements and updates, which can be stopped at any time by selecting the opt-out button at the bottom of these e-mails. This opt-out feature does not apply to non-promotional information, such as information regarding your account or services. Bridgeway does not sell these e-mail lists to any of our business partners.

Third Party Service: Promotions, Events, and Webinars

On occasion, Bridgeway may collect personal information for promotions, events, or webinars. This information may be disclosed to our third-party partners for awarding prizes or developing business opportunities.

Blogs and Other Forums

If you use a communication platform for content creation, distribution, or sharing on any of our sites or using Bridgeway Software, you should be aware that any information submitted there can be read, collected, or used by other users and possibly to send you unsolicited messages. We are not responsible for the information submitted in these forums, which may be hosted by Bridgeway, by our customers or third party service providers. We are not liable to any third party or customer. The substance or accuracy of any information posted by you or any other user of our Sites, Software, or communication platforms.

Communication Preferences and Reviewing Your Personal Information

You can manage your communication preferences by contacting us at info@bridgeway.cc. When contacting us, please provide us your name, e-mail address, and details of your inquiry. For example, if you wish to unsubscribe from updates, include the name of the updates. You can access and edit your personal information by contacting us at info@bridgeway.cc or sending us a letter to our mailing address below including your name, e-mail address, account ID and purpose of your request.

Security of Your Personal Information

Bridgeway Community church operates data networks secured by industry standard security measures to help protect your personal information from loss and misconduct including, but not limited to, firewalls, encryption, and password protection systems.

The security and privacy policies of Bridgeway Community Church are reviewed periodically and edited where necessary.

Disclosure of Your Information to Protect Our Rights or if Required by Law

Bridgeway Community Church reserves the right- and you authorize Bridgeway Community Church- to share or disclose personal information when Bridgeway Community Church determines, in its discretion, the release of such information is appropriate or necessary:

  • To enforce our rights against you or your connection with a breach by you of this Privacy and Security Policy or the Bridgeway Community Church Terms and Conditions;
  • To prevent prohibited or illegal activities; or
  • When required by any applicable law, rule regulation, subpoena or other legal process.

Data May be Transferred Upon Change of Control

As a result of a sale, acquisition, merger, reorganization, or other change of control, your personal information may be transferred to a third party. If any of these actions occur, your personal information may be included in part of the sale; if your information is included, you will be asked if you would like to stop receiving promotional information following the change of control.

Transport or Deletion of Data

Your data belongs to you. You may remove your data anytime you want to, and should remove it before requesting us to delete your account. When requesting us to stop using Bridgeway Community Church Software or Sites, your data may be permanently deleted from our primary production servers and possibly prevent access to your accounts. We will also disconnect any connection established to your account information and delete all account credentials as soon as possible. However, some parts of your data, consisting of aggregate data from your account information, may remain on our production servers. Your personal data may aso remain on backup media or servers. Bridgeway Community Church retains these backups to ensure we can ensure our continued ability to provide services to you i the event of damage or failing of our primary production servers. Bridgeway Community Church also reserves the right to use any anonymous or aggregated data from or incorporating personal information. Should you have special requirements, please send Bridgeway Community Church a written request for consideration, and we may be able to accommodate to your needs for an additional charge.

Children’s Privacy

Adhering to Bridgeway Community Church’s Terms and Conditions, minors cannot be prohibited from visiting our sites. Parents, guardians, and those supervising children under 13 are responsible to decide appropriate materials for such children to view, participate, purchase, and/or upload to sites. We require that all usage of the Sites be made by individuals 13 years old or above. Each time you use one or more of the sites, you are representing to Bridgeway Community Church and its sites that you are 13 years age or above. If it is necessary to collect personal information of children under 13 years of age, we must receive valid parental consent before collection. If we learn that we have collected children's personal information without parental consent, this information will be deleted from our systems.

Maintaining Confidentiality of Login ID and Password

At Bridgeway Community Church, we have strict rules in place to help prevent others from guessing your password. We recommend you change your password periodically.

Governing Law

This Privacy Policy and your rights are the responsibilities of Bridgeway Community Church’s responsibilities are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland. Should any dispute involving this Privacy Policy, you agree to submit personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Howard County, Maryland.

Updates to Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy is updated periodically; the last date this document was revised is at the top of the Policy. These changes take immediate effect upon posting.
