You Belong Here: Three Clear Paths Into Community at Bridgeway
We live in a crowded world. Constant noise, endless connection points, and still, many people feel alone.
This Sunday, we began a new series, The Power of Belonging, with a clear reminder: loneliness is real, but it’s not God’s design. We were created for connection. For fellowship. For community rooted in Christ. “It is not good for the man to be alone” (Genesis 2:18).
At Bridgeway, belonging to community is essential and must be intentional. Midweek is one of the clearest ways to step into a feeling of belonging. And there are three distinct paths—each designed for a different kind of need.
Tuesday Night Care Classes in Columbia: When You Need Support
Some seasons require more than a general shared purpose. They require care.
The Tuesday Night Care classes are built for people carrying something specific—grief, addiction, relationship strain, emotional weight. The environment is more intimate. The group stays consistent. Trust builds over time. People can be vulnerable. This is where you bring what’s heavy.
The goal is movement toward healing, clarity, and stability. Conversations go deep. There’s space to be honest without performing or filtering. “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2).
Being part of Tuesday Night Care in Columbia means you don’t have to navigate a tough season alone.
Wednesday Night Alive: When You Need Connection
Wednesday Night Alive in Columbia and online is a different kind of gathering. It’s open to everyone, no matter your season.
Belonging isn’t only built in hard seasons. It’s also built through shared learning, conversation, and time together. “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another” (Proverbs 27:17). Wednesday nights create those moments. If Tuesday is about support in a specific season, Wednesday is about building rhythm in community.
This is where faith is strengthened and stretched. "Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together" (Hebrews 10:24-25).
What's the Difference?
Both nights are about belonging. But they are not the same.
Tuesday is for specific seasons of care.
Wednesday is for discipleship and strengthening your faith.Tuesday creates space for transparency and vulnerability.
Wednesday invites growth through learning, discussion, and thoughtful debate.Tuesday builds intimacy in smaller, consistent groups.
Wednesday stretches you through new perspectives and shared exploration.Tuesday focuses on internal healing and personal growth.
Wednesday equips you to be discipled and to disciple others.
Clarity helps people choose the right next step.
Campus Connect in Owings Mills/ Reisterstown: A Blend of Care & Discipleship
Campus Connect on Tuesday nights at OMR brings together elements of both environments. It offers space for real conversation and support while also engaging Scripture and spiritual growth. The setting is relational and interactive—people can be honest about where they are and still be challenged to grow.
If Tuesday Care Classes meet you in a specific season, and Wednesday Night Alive builds consistent discipleship rhythms, Campus Connect sits in between. It creates room for bothcare in community and growth through shared learning.
It’s a place to be known and to keep growing at the same time
One Church. Multiple Paths to Community.
The call from Dr. Anderson’s sermon still stands: walk in the light, and walk together. “If we walk in the light… we have fellowship with one another” (1 John 1:7).
Belonging grows when people move toward each other with intention. Please don’t just show up on Sundays, but step into spaces where you can be seen, be known, be served, and serve others.
For some, that starts on Tuesday.
For others, it starts on Wednesday.
Both are valid. Both are needed. Both create real pathways out of isolation and into community.
