1 John 1:1-4

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life. The life appeared; we have seen it and testify to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life, which was with the Father and has appeared to us. We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We write this to make our joy complete.

Ministry Year Journal

This ministry year, Bridgeway is stepping into a season of bold declaration — proclaiming God’s Truth, Triumph, and Transformation. To guide that journey, we’ve created the Proclaim Journal, a resource available both at our campuses and online.

Rooted in 1 John 1:1–4, the journal walks with you through our weekly sermons, giving you space to take notes, reflect on Scripture, and capture how God is moving in your life. Inside, you’ll explore the names and character of God, journey through key teachings, and record your personal prayers, insights, and testimonies.

Whether you use it during Sunday services, in your small group, or in your quiet time at home, the Proclaim Journal is designed to help you:

  • Write down what you see, hear, and experience of Christ.
  • Engage with Scripture as we proclaim God’s truth together.
  • Track your growth as you walk in His triumph and transformation.

Through Genesis 1 and key Scriptures from John and Colossians, we’ll explore the origin of all creation, the triune nature of God, and what it means to be made in His image. You’ll be challenged to embrace the creative genius within you and reflect God’s glory through your gifts, your voice, and your unique story.

Through Abram’s honest conversation with God in Genesis 15, we’ll discover what it means to follow a Sovereign God who is “large and in charge,” even when the promises feel impossible. Whether you’re struggling with doubt, delay, or disappointment, this message will reignite your faith to believe what God has spoken—even when you can’t yet see it.

Don’t miss this powerful teaching and come ready to proclaim the name of the God who keeps His promises!

Genesis 16:13

In this powerful message from Genesis 16, Dr. David Anderson introduces us to EL ROI—the God who sees. As Hagar fled the pain and mistreatment of Abram and Sarai, she encountered the God who found her in the desert and called her seen, heard, and loved.

Through humor, honesty, and hope, Dr. Anderson unpacks lessons on pain, faith, and divine vision—reminding us that being hurt doesn’t give us the right to hurt others, that faith will be tested, that mistreatment is never okay, and that sometimes stepping away can bring clarity toward destiny. No matter where you find yourself—broken, forgotten, or unseen—God sees you. He is EL ROI, the God who meets you right where you are.

Genesis 17:1

What happens when God makes you a promise that feels humanly impossible?

This Sunday, join us for part five of Proclaim the Name as we explore El Shaddai—God Almighty—through the story of Abraham in Genesis 17. Whether you’re watching online or tuning into our Podcast Service at Owings Mills/ Reisterstown, you’ll be reminded that God’s promises carry power, even after seasons of silence, delay, or detours. El Shaddai is not only all-powerful but all-sufficient—nurturing, sustaining, and faithful to fulfill what He starts.

Come discover how God’s grace can redeem your missteps, rename your identity, and restore your hope for what once seemed out of reach. Get ready to trust El Shaddai with your impossible!

Genesis 21:33

What happens when you anchor your life in the One who has no beginning and no end?

Genesis 22:14

What happens when faith keeps walking even when the destination is unclear?
This Sunday at Bridgeway, join Minister Ronald Greene (Columbia Campus) and Pastor Will Eastham (Owings Mills/Reisterstown Campus) for a teaching on the Name of God Jireh from Genesis 22:1–14. Through Abraham’s journey up Mount Moriah, we see that Jehovah Jireh doesn’t just provide at the end—He provides in every step of surrender, every word of faith, and every moment of trust. When God asks you to release what’s in your hand, it’s not to take something from you, but to take you deeper into Him.

Whether you’re waiting, walking, or wondering, come discover how God is shaping your faith and providing in the process.

Exodus 3:15

What happens when God sets something aflame—not to destroy you, but to draw you closer?

Join Dr. David Anderson for our next teaching from Exodus 3:1–15. Through the story of Moses and the burning bush, we’ll encounter YAHWEH—the self-existent One who calls us out of obscurity and into divine purpose. The same fire that caught Moses’ attention still burns today, not to consume, but to awaken, restore, and redirect. Whether you’re standing in a season of failure, calling, or renewal, come discover how you + YAHWEH = the majority.

Find the courage to step into what God has set aflame for His great name!

Exodus 6:3

What happens when the God who makes promises steps into your discouragement and shows you His game?

Join Dr. David Anderson for God’s Got Game from Exodus 6:1–12 as we continue our Proclaim the Name series and look at Jehovah, the self-existent Lord who keeps His word even when life feels stuck. In this passage, God answers Israel’s pain with seven “I will” promises—“I will bring you out… I will free you… I will redeem you…”—and reminds His people that His name isn’t just theology, it’s rescue in real time. If you’ve ever struggled to believe God’s goodness because of what you’re going through, this message will call you back to the power of His name, the hope of His timing, and the invitation to trust Jesus in a fresh way.

Come be encouraged, lay your discouragement at His feet, and let God strengthen your faith to trust His promises again.

Exodus 15:26

What happens when the bitter places in your life become the very places God chooses to heal?

Join Dr. David Anderson for the latest PROCLAIM teaching from Exodus 15:22–27 as we proclaim the name Jehovah Rapha—the God who heals. We’ll walk with Israel from the Red Sea to the bitter waters of Marah and watch God turn what was undrinkable into something sweet, showing that He doesn’t just fix circumstances; He transforms hearts, attitudes, and even the roots of bitterness that poison our lives. From “bitter” to “better” to “bountiful,” this message will invite you to see how God can bring healing not only to your body, but to your wounds, memories, and relationships as you listen up, do what is right, and bring your pain to the cross.

Come ready to seek Jehovah Rapha, release what’s hurting, and ask God to turn what is bitter in your life into something beautifully sweet.

Exodus 17:15

What happens when the battle you’re facing exposes just how limited your strength is—but also reveals just how faithful God is?

This weekend at Bridgeway, both campuses lean into the name Jehovah Nissi—the Lord Our Banner—as Minister Kevin Turpin II (Columbia) and Pastor Sandy Pope (OMR) walk us through Exodus 17:8–16. It’s the moment Israel, fresh out of slavery and still learning how to trust God, is suddenly ambushed by the Amalekites. They’re tired, unprepared, and vulnerable…yet God steps into the fight. While Joshua takes up the sword, Moses lifts his hands, Aaron and Hur hold him steady, and the people discover that victory doesn’t come from human strength—it comes from the God who covers, defends, and leads His people when the battle is bigger than they are.

If you’re worn down, outmatched, or wrestling with your own “Amalekites,” this message will remind you what happens when you stand under God’s banner—when repentance, faith, and obedience meet the power of the One who fights for you.

Come ready to lift your eyes, steady your faith, and trust the God who still brings total victory.

Judges 6:24

This Sunday, December 21, join us for a special Lessons & Carols Christmas Service as we continue PROCLAIM THE NAME Jehovah Shalom — The Lord Our Peace. Through Scripture readings, teaching from Dr. David Anderson, and carols and creative worship moments from our Worship Arts team, we’ll journey from the promises of the prophets to the manger—discovering how God offers His presence, power, and peace in the middle of fear, doubt, and uncertainty.

In a season that often feels hurried and heavy, come experience the Prince of Peace and the divine exchange where God meets our anxiety with His peace as we celebrate the true meaning of Christmas together.

1 Samuel 1:3

What happens when the battles that surface are placed in the hands of the God who commands heaven’s armies?

In today’s service, Dr. David Anderson continues our Proclaim series with a teaching on Jehovah Sabaoth—the Lord of Hosts. Drawing from Hannah’s story in 1 Samuel, we are reminded that God fights not only heavenly battles but our most personal ones as well. When pain persists and peace feels out of reach, we are invited to stop carrying it alone and take it to the Lord in prayer.

As we begin a new year, come ready to lay down last year’s burdens, trust the God who leads angel armies, and receive the peace that comes when you bring everything to Him—then step forward believing change will come in His time.

Psalm 23:1

Who are you listening to when life feels uncertain? Where are you looking for care, direction, and peace?

In this Sunday’s service, Dr. David Anderson continues the Proclaim the Name series with a powerful teaching on Jehovah Raah—the Lord Our Shepherd. Walking through Psalm 23, we’re reminded that God doesn’t just watch over us from a distance; He personally makes, leads, restores, and guides those who belong to Him.

As we begin a new year, this message invites us to declare who God is, tune our hearts to His voice, and trust that the care of the Shepherd truly covers everything we need. Whether you’re weary, searching for direction, or longing for restoration, come ready to encounter the Good Shepherd who knows His sheep—and still calls them by name.

Jeremiah 23:6

In this powerful sermon from Dr. David Anderson, we explore Jehovah Tsidkenu — “The Lord Our Righteousness,” one of the final names of God revealed in the Old Testament. Rooted in Jeremiah 23, this sermon unpacks the Promise, the Person, and the Process of God’s righteousness, ultimately fulfilled in Jesus Christ.

This message calls us to worship, repentance, gratitude, and confident living in the righteousness of Christ alone. Be encouraged, challenged, and reminded of the power of God’s grace and righteousness.
