As many of you may know, Elder Cecil Bray has been part of the Bridgeway family since its inception. He has played a critical role in many ministries, influencing the spiritual direction of our church and advancing our ability to reach our community, culture, and world for Jesus Christ.

Dr. Anderson recalls,

“Elder Cecil was my spiritual father and mentor for over 30 years. His loving spirit and shepherding heart have cultivated a culture of compassionate leadership bathed in prayer. His example is one that I am honored to endeavor to model. I am eternally grateful for his friendship and partnership with Bridgeway.”

After his many years of faithful service, Elder Cecil has decided to transition off the Elder Board. It is with tremendous gratitude that Dr. Anderson, on behalf of the Elder’s Council, would like to thank Elder Cecil for his commitment and invaluable contribution to our church. Elder Cecil and his wife Barbara have been instrumental in the growth and development of Bridgeway Community Church, and he and Barbara are still very much engaged in Bridgeway as their beloved church home. Bridgeway Community Church has truly been blessed by Elder Cecil’s devotion to Jesus.

Please join us as we pray that their next season of building bridges is enriched by their experience and dedication to the Kingdom. Thank you Elder Cecil!

You may have received an email from our Ministry Support office written by Dr. Anderson on Friday regarding Elder Cecil Bray. Although the contents of that particular email were accurate, the way it was distributed was in error, and it may have seemed as if Dr. Anderson’s email had been hacked. Rest assured that all is well, and this was not a hack at all. It was simply an error within our email distribution service.
