FOUNDATIONS

The Promises of God: Discovering the One Who Keeps His Word

Using the theological teachings of R.C. Sproul, we will discuss many questions like:

  • How do we know that God will fulfill His promises to us?
  • What can we learn about God’s faithfulness as we wait for His promises to be fulfilled?
  • What was the agreement God the Father had with Jesus before the beginning of the world?

SPIRITUAL FORMATION & DOCTRINE AND THEOLOGY

The Holy Spirit: How He Works in Our Lives and World

The Holy Spirit plays a crucial role in the lives of all believers, even when we are unaware of His activity. This study will help us understand how He functions and impacts our lives. Through this class, we will learn how to be more sensitive and obedient to His voice, come alongside what He is doing, and activate His power in our day-to-day reality.

RECONCILIATION - KINGDOM BUILDERS

PeaceBuilders Character Study

When it seems like everything in the world is creating more and more division, God’s people have the opportunity to rise up as PeaceBuilders. Each week we’ll look at a different biblical character that has demonstrated how to work toward peace during times of hostility and conflict. Join us to pick up some Biblical and practical lessons that will help you implement a PeaceBuilding strategy in your own life.

BOOKS OF THE BIBLE

Luke: An Overview of the Gospel of Luke (pt. 2 – More Parables)

A “parable” is a simple story used to illustrate a moral or spiritual lesson, as told by Jesus in the Gospels. Parables were a way for Jesus to convey moral, transcendent principles in an allegoric story that people could understand and relate to – using a teaching method using the familiar to illustrate unfamiliar concepts. The Gospel of Luke contains both the largest total number of parables (24) and eighteen unique parables. Join in for a study of some more of our favorite parables in Luke.

ELDERS' PRAYER

A communal prayer gathering for those who need prayer.

Discipleship: Up, In & Out

Discipleship is all about following and becoming more like Jesus. This means modeling our lives after Jesus and allowing the Holy Spirit to conform us into the image of Christ. Boiled down to its simplest form, Jesus focused on three areas in everything he did: Up, In, and Out.

At Bridgeway, our discipleship ministry, church ministries, pastors, and elders focus on these three areas. We encourage you to take advantage of our discipleship offerings that will help you be transformed more into the likeness of Jesus – Up, In, and Out!

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. - 2 Peter 3:18

Growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ means being in a flourishing and committed relationship with him through prayer and studying the scriptures.

A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. - John 13:34-35
A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. - John 13:34-35

Jesus wants his church to be a community that deeply cares for all its members and genuinely loves one another so that the gospel is made visible to the ever observing world.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. - Matthew 28:19
