Worship

A series of classes that focuses on teaching the biblical principles of worship and grasp the understanding that worship is WAY more than music.

The Worship Track is designed for:

  • Those who want to learn how to grow in the area of worship and devotion in all aspects of their lives.

MODULE 2 CLASS – You Are What You Love:  The Spiritual Power of Habit
You are what you love. But you might not love what you think. The Scriptures warn us: “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it” (Proverbs 4:23). We were created to love God and love others well, positively shaping our community, culture, and world to the glory of Jesus Christ. Right? The problem is, we are often unaware of all the subtle and explicit ways that our culture and our world work to woo and shape our hearts. There are thousands of other “gods” that present themselves to our hearts each day and compete for our ultimate worship and allegiance. Worship is so much more than singing — it is aligning our loves, our longings, and our lives with God and his Kingdom. In this class, we will explore the biblical theology of worship, drawing from the resource, along with personal experience, honest discussion, and practical applications.
BOOK PURCHASE REQUIRED – The book “You Are What You Love: The Spiritual Power of Habit” by James K. A. Smith is required for this class.  To purchase, please click here.  Purchase the eBook version (recommended) for instant access.

Up, In & Out

Discipleship is all about following, and becoming more like, Jesus. What better way to become like Jesus than to model our lives after His? Boiled down to its simplest form, Jesus focused on three areas in everything He did: Up, In, and Out.

At Bridgeway, we focus on those three areas through all of our ministries and programs. We encourage you to take advantage of those specific ministries and programs that will help you be transformed more into the likeness of Jesus – Up, In, and Out!
