Hello Bridgeway! I pray you’re having a great week.
We’re at just about the halfway point for the ministry year. Time flies doesn’t it?! Have you been able to take advantage of all the challenges we’ve created to help you become Mature & Mighty in Christ? You may recall back in September, I challenged you to choose three of the 30. How are you doing with that?
If you have chosen and engaged in at least three of the challenges, way to go! If not, why not? Start now!
Allow me to highlight some of the happenings at Bridgeway Community Church:
This month we kicked off the Gracism Academy for Young Leaders. The Gracism Academy for Young Leaders is an 8-month learning experience intended to help emerging leaders & artists in our community learn to leverage their networks, gifts, and abilities to work for justice and reconciliation right where they are. As Bridgeway looks towards the next 30 years of ministry, we want to ensure we have leaders & artists who both share Bridgeway’s unique Gracism-DNA and are capable of imparting it to the now/next generation.
We have new Elders/Elders Council of Women (ECW) members! After completing their service we want to thank: Elder Mark Mobley, Elder Mauricio Campos, ECW Dee Byrd, and ECW Heidi Mobley for their service. We warmly welcome Don Rajala, Marvin Beard, and Karen Walls as they rotate on to the Elders Council.
Our Owings Mills/Reisterstown Campus Pastor Dave Michener will be spearheading a New Ministers Training Track. Candidates who are called and selected by our clergy team will go through a multi-month training and preparation process. Stay tuned for more details to come!
Finally, you don’t want to miss this year’s Winter Guest Speaker Series. This year I will be hosting guests for five weeks instead of the usual four.

Bridgeway, I am excited about this series and I know you will be too. Prepare to be blessed in a major way! As we move forward, in unity and love, I am praying for you, Bridgeway.
