Dear Bridgeway Family,

As we bring the ministry year to a close, we reflect on a transformative journey defined by an unwavering commitment to EXPECT God to show up, to move, and to manifest His glory in powerful ways. From the very beginning, our hearts were stirred with a profound sense that God was calling us to cultivate a higher level of EXPECTANCY. We were challenged to believe for victory, for abundance, for increased manifestations of His presence, and for more miracles than ever before.

Elevating Our Expectation Meters

At the outset of this ministry year, we acknowledged a challenging truth: for many believers, our EXPECTATION METERS had become broken, inoperable, or even defunct. We recognized that sometimes, out of a desire to protect ourselves from disappointment, we modulate our faith, settling for a “comfortable and cozy Christianity” that seldom requires us to express bold faith. We pondered when we last truly had to express audacious faith. For some, Christianity had become a religious routine, devoid of supernatural encounters.

Yet, we declared that this year, God would jump-start our EXPECTATION METERS back into operation. We committed to allowing God to give us opportunities to ELEVATE our faith, asking ourselves if we would be ready and truly expectant. We dared to imagine beyond our human ceilings. We confronted the tendency to modulate our asks, our faith, and our expectations, realizing that playing it safe in the middle often prevents us from experiencing the great joys of the mountaintops. This year, we chose to leave it all on the field for God, trusting that as we elevated our faith and raised our expectations, He would indeed show up and perform miracles.

A Year of Miracles: The Miracles of Jesus Sermon Series

With a profound conviction that when God performs miracles, it is always to glorify, magnify, and manifest Himself while blessing us, we embarked on the “Miracles of Jesus” sermon series. Our commitment was to cover each miracle of Jesus in chronological order throughout the entire ministry year, with various voices from our clergy team sharing these powerful stories from the scriptures. This consistent focus truly made it a year of miracles in our teachings, our lives, and in the church as a whole.

Inspired by Haggai 2:6-9, which promises that God’s “latter glory would be greater than the former glory within His house,” we entered this series with great anticipation. We believe that when we take care of God’s house, He will take care of ours, and that He will manifest His glory within and throughout Bridgeway Community Church.

We learned that miracles don’t just happen; they often require us as believers to activate our faith. To support you on this journey, we provided miracle journals, encouraging everyone to diligently record the miracles of Jesus and, importantly, to document the miraculous ways God was moving in your own lives. This series was a powerful call to raise our faith and boldly declare our belief that God will move.

Looking Ahead

As we conclude this remarkable ministry year, we are filled with gratitude for your partnership in making #G3 – Give God Glory a living reality. Your generosity, obedience, and unwavering faith have paved the way for unprecedented blessings and the tangible presence of God in our midst.

Love,

Dr. David Anderson
